Jon and Heidi
We're looking to adopt a baby
Hello, we are Jon, Heidi, and our son Grady. Thank you for taking the time to hear our story. We are thrilled to continue our journey as adoptive parents!
Our story begins with us growing up in the same small town and our families knowing each other. It wasn’t until we were both adults, however, while attending a summer concert with friends, that we reconnected. In 2008, we officially began dating. Heidi was finishing nursing school, and Jon was establishing his teaching career. We loved attending plays, planning picnics, and participating in recreational activities. In 2010, Jon proposed, and we were married later that same year.
We have always wanted to grow our family, but the first four years of our marriage were committed to our careers as we awaited the right time to begin the journey of becoming parents. After multiple tests and surgery, infertility became part of our story. This left our hearts empty as we still desired to have children. We believe that God led us to adoption. In the spring of 2020, we began our process for adoption, and months later, God blessed us with our son, Grady, in March of 2021. He has truly blessed us since the day he was born and entered our family. We wholeheartedly believe and trust that God has a special design for continuing to grow our family through adoption.
We are eager to welcome another child into our hearts and home to be a part of our family.
